Harry Potter

Bryan and I are one of those odd couples that had never gotten into the Harry Potter books or movies. I watched the first movie and didn't really like it, so I had no desire to see any of the others. But Bryan's always wanted to watch the movies because as he says, "harry potter is so huge and a part of not just our culture, but the worlds, that we probably shouldn't go through life not knowing what the whole thing is about. . . ."

Last weekend all of the movies were on TV. So. . .we watched the second, third and fourth. I have to say that I am a bigger fan after seeing those three movies. I actually was excited when we would start the next movie. I'm not saying that I'll be there opening night in July 2009 for the Half Blood Prince - but I am glad that I have participated in this important part of our culture :)

Personally, I'm a bigger fan of HP than Twilight. Oh no, don't shoot me! LOL! I luuuuv Harry Potter. But, the books are way better than the movies. #3 is my fave.

My friends were all into them, so I went with them on opening night to see the first Harry Potter movie. It was there that I saw a 40-year-old man with a Harry Potter cape and wand. I made a resolution then to not be a Harry Potter participant. Justin has assured me that you don't turn INTO a nerd by reading the books... some people are just nerds. So I'm thinking about it... haha.
