YM/YW Carnival

Bryan and I are in the YM/YW. Our mutual last week was awesome. It was a combined activity where we invited all of the primary kids so that parents could have a night out! We had a bunch of different booths and the YM and YW took the primary kids around to the different booths. The YW thought of all the booths - and some were pretty ambitious like prayer rocks or face painting. I think everyone had a really good time. But probably the parents especially because they had no kids at home :)

Book Review

I was looking for a light and fun book to read so I went to the BYU Bookstore and grabbed a book that was hot pink and was titled Confessions of a Shopaholic - I figured a book with a hot pink cover couldn't be too deep.


As I read the book I realized that it was about two of my favorite topics: personal finance and shopping! So, for me it was a very enjoyable book - there were some language issues that I wish the book didn't have, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised. And it's a 5 book series - so I'm excited to start reading the second book: Shopaholic Takes Manhattan!!

Our Future

Bryan and I have thought a lot about our future and have decided that we are both going to model for our career! What could be better. . . .seriously

In reality - having my photo plastered around the Wilkinson Student Center (WSC) is kinda embarrasing but you got to do what you got to do when your family asks. Jeff Buell was in charge of publicizing for the career fair - so, alas this is probably my one and only gig (sigh)

Fall oh Fall

I am so excited for the fall to begin because that means that the holiday season is right around the corner!

I love the fall because of the colors and the scents (specifically the bath and body works wallflower autumn scents)!!

Bryan loves the fall because of Halloween - he is already researching which haunted houses we should go to!

If anyone knows of the the best haunted houses in Utah - we would love to hear about it :)
